1 - Continue to coordinate with the Testing & Accountability Department on device preparations and logistics for EOG testing.
2 - If devices are collected from student check outs, allow adequate time to collect the Chromebooks & chargers, assess usability of the device, and run needed OS updates.
Note: Tech Services will not have adequate time to repair devices across the district for testing.
Some have been asking about backgrounds and blur feature on student devices so we researched and wanted to share:
From what we found Chromebooks have to be on version 86 or later for the background and blur options. We control the version our devices are allowed to update to and have them on version 85 as we never move to the latest version in case there are issues. Version 87 is now available so we have just increased the allowed version to 86. Once the Chromebooks update that should allow the students to see the background blur options. Currently there are no controls in the admin console to enable or disable this feature so we are confident this should resolve the issue.

As of Jan 1, 2021, Firefly and Trinity3 have merged and are now known as Trafera.
Trafera has already been added into our LINQ system for purchases. Right now, we are working with Trafera for updated quotes and they will be placed in the Quote folder as soon as they are available. From our understanding, this transition is just in the name. It will not change anything in regards to products and/or services other than promising to be bigger, better, and faster to support us.
In regards to open POs, we will simply process them as they are shown on the POs and invoices (Trinity3).
