Attention: Change to Chromebook Logins!

Google recently announced that accounts with excessive multiple log ins will be disabled.  This is part of what has prompted our change in NCTest.  While this new policy will effect all accounts, the imaginecb@jcsnc.org is the main one.  Please be aware that the district has no control over this and we don't know when it will roll out, but it has already been deployed to other districts around us, so we anticipate it to be soon.  If you are using the imaginecb@jcsnc.org account, you will want to reference this past document about using Imagine Learning logged in as a student for all future access.

Reminder: iBoss Authentication

Chromebooks Authentication
(Elementary in particular take note)

On chromebooks there is an iBoss one time authentication page.  You will simply click "Accept" and continue.  This screen will appear for all users one time, here is a video of how to accept this screen.  If you skip this step the chromebook's functionality might be limited.  There is not a way to force the screen to appear again, so please encourage all users to complete this process when they are prompted.

If you are having issues with Imagine Learning please reference this folder of guides on how to get started.

Imagine Learning

Elementary & Middle - If you are experiencing slow network speed, you may want to look at your Imagine Learning program. You'll know if your computers are running this program because it runs on startup. In the bottom right of the screen, the software starts up with a small red circle. After all has loaded, the circle turns green. You can right click the green circle and exit the program, but one school has found that completely uninstalling has significantly increased network speed.

Please be selective about where you've installed the software. You may want to consider uninstalling the software on computers where the program will not be used.

You can launch a reinstall by using the Imagine Learning icon in the Tech Folder.
