NEW HP Chromebook

We are moving to a new model for ordering and we want to caution you about entering these into Resource Manager, therefore, Christa Leverette has put together this document to assist with the difference.  Please reference this document if you order the new devices.  This document is also located in the Tech/Media Google folder.

Also note, schools should no longer be ordering the G5 model but we realize there may be some devices out there that has come in that still hasn't been barcoded.  All purchase orders going out now should be G5 EE or Acer C731.

P.S.  The Acer model went up in pricing effective January 1.

Please look in the quote folder for more information about the current pricing.

Also note: We just found out that DPI has extended the DLMI deadline to January 31.  Password resets go to Linda Edmundson.  For questions regarding 208 & 212, call Christa Leverette at 1011.

Discard Change! Title 1, ESL, Migrant

Discard Procedure Change

If you are discarding materials that are labelled Title 1, ESL or Migrant (Blue and Red County Tags) you no longer have to complete a form for state approval, now they only need to be approved at the district.

Here is the form and you would complete the form and submit to Kathy Cobb in the Federal Programs office.  Once she approves you will be able to follow the same discard procedures as other items.

1. Mark all items in Resource Manager as retired and
move location to "discard pile" until they are picked up
2. Move all discards to a central location for pick up
3. Once items are picked up they can be deleted from Resource Manager
 - a report can be pulled if needed at the end of the year.
