Discard Procedure Change
If you are discarding materials that are labelled Title 1, ESL or Migrant (Blue and Red County Tags) you no longer have to complete a form for state approval, now they only need to be approved at the district.
Here is the form and you would complete the form and submit to
Kathy Cobb in the Federal Programs office. Once she approves you will be able to follow the same discard procedures as other items.
1. Mark all items in Resource Manager as retired and
move location to "discard pile" until they are picked up
2. Move all discards to a central location for pick up
3. Once items are picked up they can be deleted from Resource Manager
- a report can be pulled if needed at the end of the year.
