JCPS District High School Battle of the Books Competition
JCPS High School Battle of the Books District Competition took place on Friday, March 11th. This year's competition was virtual. Participating schools included Clayton High, Cleveland High, Corinth Holders High, Early College Academy, Smithfield-Selma High, and West Johnston High.
Clayton High was the winner with 111 points. Corinth Holders came in second place after a tie-breaker with West Johnston High for the second place spot. Congratulations to all of our students and coaches for a great competition. We are very proud of all of our teams for their dedication to reading!
Clayton High will advance to regional competition, which will be held on Monday, April 25th at Western Harnett High School.
