Good afternoon,

I hope this email finds each of you well. As we enter into a period of full plan C, please address the following:
1. Ensure that all students who request a device and hotspot can get one. Our Plan B schools(6-12) have been operating using devices and hotspots since the beginning of the year so I anticipate this will not be a major problem unless there has been a lost or broken device. Plan A schools will need to account for any new students who may have enrolled since you went back to F2 F instruction. In most instances, the students should have retained their devices and hotspots from this time.
2. If you do not have enough devices(you have distributed every device at your school), please reach out to Michelle Turnage(cc Dolores Gill) directly through an email ASAP. We will then be coordinating with other schools and inventory at other sites to assist you.
3. If a student does not have a charger, please give out all the chargers you have. If you are still short, send the model number to us immediately.
4. Point of Clarification-All chromebooks(priority discards or obsolete) will test with MAP for those of you still in the testing window in K-8.
5. If you distribute any new devices out, please have the parents sign them out using the technology use form. You can email a form to a parent to expedite the device getting home before the 14th. The parent can acknowledge they have read it and send it back in a reply email. Retain the email for your records.
6. If you need a hotspot, please contact Michelle Turnage or Christa Leverette and we will be in contact to have these ready for you asap.
7. Students who may have no access despite our efforts with Verizon or Sprint may need a packet.
8. In some instances with our Life Skills students, technology or packets may be the decision your teachers and you make.
9. As you make decisions with teachers about who is working remotely and/or who is coming to the building, if you need any assistance, please let us know.
10. If I have forgotten anything, please let me know.
 Thank you, Dolores
