Have you ever been browsing online to find resources on a specific topic and ended up with multiple tabs open across your browser and you wish you could save all of them at one time? Have you ever wanted your students to go to specific websites for a project and had to create a shortcut or document for each of the links? Using the OneTab Google Chrome Extension, make this easy and quick. With one click, turn all of your tabs into a list. The list can then be shared and/or reopened.

1. First go to your chrome settings

2. Click on Extensions

3. Then click on Get more extensions at the bottom.

4. Type in OneTab in the Chrome web store search box.

5. Under the Extensions category add the OneTab extension.

6. This will add the icon to the top of the browser.

7. If you have multiple tabs open, here is an example of what you will see when you click on the OneTab icon.

8. At this time, all the tabs that WERE open, are now closed and the above list is showing. There are now several options to choose:

1. Restore all- this will reopen all the tabs.

2. Delete all- this will delete this list.

3. Share as web page- this will create an actual web page AND a QR code to save or share with  others. (to share, copy the url and share OR scan the QR code)

4. MORE- this gives you more advanced options for saving your lists
a. name the tab group- give the group a name
b. lock the tab group- lock the group to save for future use
c. star the tab group- star this group for easy identification later

9. After you are comfortable with the basic uses of OneTab play around with the “extras” located at the top right corner of the window.
