Warranty Issues
As soon as you know a machine is in need of repair, please get the device entered into IT Direct with the serial number, model number, and date of purchase if you know it.  Be sure to include as much information regarding the issue as possible.  Remember warranties do not cover neglect or misuse.  Recently, we have had several chromebooks slip out of warranty because they were not entered into the system in time.

Here is some helpful information to check if your device is still under warranty:
Dell:  www.dell.com/gotochat or call 1-800-822-8965
Ipadshttps://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do (enter the serial number of the device)
Chromebooks: Samsung 1-866-SAM4BIZ  Business Partner #5080120602 Option 4 and then 2  Mobile Number enter your mobile phone (it will not work with numbers that have extensions)
Any Chromebook:
Out of Warranty Chromebooks - we have a third party option - he is just a local guy not in e-procurement so you would have to use local funds to work with him but his prices are very reasonable:

Silver Chromebooks only:
For e-procurement "Out of Warranty" repairs (this have been quite pricey) you can go through Intellisol 
  • Call Intelisol (Samsung US repair center) at 817-230-5230
  • Select option 1 from the IVR menu for "out of warranty service and quotes"
  • Let the CSR know that you are Google Chromebook customer
  • Please have the device/devices with you as the details (serial number, part number etc.) will be needed during the process.
Alternatively, you can email Intelisol at customer.svc@intelisol.com with your name, phone number, device info and request.
