Friday Google Tidbit: Google Spreadsheets

A new version of Google Sheets was released this week!  It's an exciting time for us!  What's different?

• It's faster
• larger spreadsheets are supported - millions of cells
• Text moves over to the next cell - no manual merging needed
• Filter views - name, save, and share different views of your data (when collaborating)
• Formulas and complex functions now have a formal help section...there is even error highlighting and coloring to spot mistakes
• Improved conditional formatting
• Spreadsheets can now now work offline just like Google Docs and Slides (Chrome browser only)

Ready to try it out?   Sign into your Google account, and check the “Try the new Google Sheets” box in Google Drive settings. From then on, all new spreadsheets you create will work offline and include these new features.  Win!
