You can help get a handle on the .pdf files being sent through email.  On a potentially infected computer, please do the following.



1. Launch  located in the system tray (lower right corner of desktop)

2. Perform a Full Scan of the computer hard drive




3. If threats are detected that cannot be cured (after the full scan is complete), re-image the computer or remove the computer from the school network until the Technology Services technician assigned to your building can attempt further repairs.



It would also be helpful to reboot all computers in your building on a routine basis which have been placed in the 24/7 do-not-shutdown group. This will allow the computers to process antivirus updates when needed.
