As a technology leader at your school, you are sometimes asked the same question multiple times.  Many times, the repeated question comes through via email.  Take advantage of Google's Canned Response feature that allows you to quickly select and send a pretyped email from within the Mail app!  Think of all the time you could save!  Here is how you do it:
  1. Enable Canned Response by going into your mail Settings > Labs (link at top) > Canned Responses > Enable
  2. To create your canned response:
    • Compose a new email
    • Type your directions
    • Under the Subject Line, click on Canned Responses > Create New Canned Response
    • Name your Canned Response
    • Go ahead and send that email
  3. To use the Canned Response in the future
    • Compose a new email
    • Click on Canned Responses (under Subject line)
    • Under Insert, choose the canned response you would like to use
    • The saved response is entered into the body of your email
    • Send!
