Reminder: District Parent BYOD Information Night on Thursday, March 13th 6pm

Just a quick reminder that the Digital Learning Team will be hosting a District Parent Information Night for Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) in the Auditorium at Selma Elementary School from 6:00-7:15pm on Thursday, March 13th.  Please encourage parents and interested staff members to come and learn more about our what BYOD is and how it benefits our schools and students.</div>

Clayton Middle School hosted a BYOD session during it's first Eagle Academy night. Teacher Crystal Hardison shared information about the program and how she is using it to benefit her students.</div>

Later this week, Powhatan Elementary also hosted a BYOD session for parents. Teacher Kim Ellison let her students do the talking as they shared with their parents digital assignments and how they were using devices in the classroom.</div>

Powhatan and Clayton Middle Host BYOD Parent Nights

Two of our schools hosted BYOD sessions during their PTA open house events this week.

Clayton Middle School hosted a BYOD session during it's first Eagle Academy night. Teacher Crystal Hardison shared information about the program and how she is using it to benefit her students.

Later this week, Powhatan Elementary also hosted a BYOD session for parents. Teacher Kim Ellison let her students do the talking as they shared with their parents digital assignments and how they were using devices in the classroom.
