Some exciting updates and information to share with you:








BOB Regional Competition Results

  • Clayton High School's HBOB team placed 3rd in the Region 3 HBOB Competion. They traveled to Harnett County to compete on Monday, April 25th. 
  • Swift Creek Middle School's MBOB team placed 3rd in the Region 3 MBOB Competiton. They traveled to Nash County to compete on Tuesday, April 26th. 
                        

 
Congratulations to these teams and their coaches on a job well done!







AASL Announces the 2022 Best Digital Tools for Teaching and Learning

Each year, librarians nominate digital tools which they believe to be the best for teaching and learning. AASL’s Best Digital Tools are recognized for fostering qualities of:
  • Innovation/Creativity
  • Active Participation
  • Collaboration
  • User-Friendly
  • Encourages Exploration
  • Information/Reference
The tools that made the list this year include: 
  • The Stanford History Education Group's Civic Online Reasoning (9-12)
  • Classroom Screen (K-12)
  • The National Humanities Center's Humanities in Class Digital Library (K-12)
  • iVOX (PreK-4)
  • News-O-Matic (K-6)
  • NoodleTools (6-12)
  • Novel Effect (K-12)
  • PowerNotes (6-12)
  • SlidesMania (Educators K-12)
