Just Released: NEW Future Ready Librarians Hub!
The NEW Future Ready Librarians Hub was just released last week as an invaluable resource for all school librarians. Since 2016, Future Ready Librarians (FRL) has focused its work on supporting school librarians with equitable and accessible student learning through leadership in librarianship.
The new hub can be found at futurereadylibrarians.org and includes:
- An overview of the Future Ready Librarian Framework that can be explored by gear
- Events for professional learning opportunites
- Support to advocate and guide librarians in their practice, programs, and profession
- Podcasts to hear about how other professionals are facing and tackling issues related to librarianship
- Blogs to share innovative and best practices
- Stories sharing the impact librarians have on their schools and student achievement
- Additional resources with miscellaneous ideas and suggestions for librarianship
The site also includes a self-reflection tool for librarians to assess current strengths and areas of growth in relation to the Future Ready Librarians Framework. By completing a simple survey, librarians will receive results to help them plan for professional AND program growth!
