Classic Google Sites is going away

 

Google announced today that Classic Sites (prior to 2016) will be going away and need to be converted to the NEW sites format prior to December 2021.

Here are steps if you have a classic site that you would like to convert:

• On your computer, go to classic Google Sites.
• In the top right corner, click Settings .
• Click Manage site.
• In the left menu, click Convert to new Sites.
• To keep the same site permissions, check the box next to "Share with the same people."
• Click Start. ...
• Click Continue.
• To review your site, click Review draft.

This will create a new site while maintaining your previous content, thus allowing you to continue to edit and maintain your site.
