We know lots of us are getting anxious for Santa's big trip around the world and this week we are sharing some resources to track his upcoming trip.
Google has an interactive village with new activities being released everyday. Students can program an elf to dance, learn holiday phrases in different languages, deliver presents to different locations around the world, and experience different holiday traditions from around the world.
The Official NORAD Santa Tracker has been redesigned this year to include a virtual village of the North Pole where students can explore the history of Santa and holiday traditions around the world, as well as listen to music and video performances from the Armed Services Bands. On December 24th, the site will have an official Santa tracker with live locations for students see Santa delivering all across the world.
Older students can view live webcams at the North Pole and make scientific observations from the weather data displayed on the website. The website also has recorded observations going back to 2002 so students could create graphs and spreadsheets using real data.
