Spring is upon us and it will not be long before end of the year testing begins. This week we are featuring our favorite fun and of course free review tools. We are focusing today on game show style and flash card review tools! Review tools are not only great for before testing but they also are a great way to preview new material in an engaging way for your students.

Up first is Game Show Style!

Kahoot remains a top favorite for creating a fun game style show in your classroom. It is easy to use and has a bank of over 600,000 questions for you to browse by topic. For complete instructions on how to use Kahoot, click here!

If you are a fan of Jeopardy (who isn't?) make sure you check out JeopardyLabs! You can quickly create your own Jeopardy style game without PowerPoint and you can use games that others have created. For complete instructions on how to use JeopardyLabs, click here!

Another great resource is this set of PowerPoint Game Show Templates. Imagine having your students create their own review games and then have a review competition!

Up next are our favorite Flash Card Creators!

Funnelbrain is one of my favorite flash card creators. Almost one MILLION flash cards are available to review without an account. Students can also collaborate to create flash cards and study together. Funnelbrain also now has a free mobile app for studying on the go! For complete instructions, click here!

A very simple way for students to create flash cards is with a Google spreadsheet and the free tool Flippity. Students can put exactly what they want on their flash cards and share them with the whole class. For complete instructions, click here!

Looking for printable flash card sets you can quickly create and customize with images and math formulas? Click here for a free printable flash card maker that allows you to create a PDF file ready to print!

I hope these tools help you engage your students in some new ways of test review!
