Pin an App
If you have used a Chromebook, there are specific apps
that you use every day. For those apps, it would be nice to have them handy on the bottom task bar to click as needed without having to search for it in the app launcher. JCS Teachers and Students now have the ability to pin apps to the shelf for quick and easy reference.
Here are the steps to follow to pin apps to the taskbar.
1. Locate the app in the app launcher.
2. Right click on the desired app
(a right click on the Chromebook is a two finger tap on the touchpad)
3. Click on “Pin to shelf”. The app will appear next to the app launcher.
Pinned apps can also be rearranged on the shelf by dragging and dropping.
