We have been investigating periodic reports of "Aw, Snap" error messages at multiple school sites this week and after going through the Google Support process, it has been determined that we need to upgrade our Chrome browser version.

We do not want to update Chrome during this busy testing season. We will send a Chrome update to ALL computers and laptops at ALL schools on the first teacher workday on June 16, 2014. Computers and laptops will receive this update automatically when they are turned on (you will see the "please wait" screen).

Until then, the work around is to use a Chromebook (which has the most current version of Chrome) or an alternate browser (Firefox or Internet Explorer) on desktops and laptops. The error messages seem to be most frequent while using Google Calendar.

We appreciate your patience with this issue and we will keep you updated as we learn more. Please share the details of this issue, how to work around it, and the upcoming update with your staff.
