PowerTeacher is going to require a new version of Java after January 1, so in order to avoid an interruption in use of the program for our Novell schools, we have pushed an application named "PowerTeacher Gradebook" to the Productivity Folder for all staff members. While you will still be able to launch PowerTeacher from the website for home use, the app will be recommended for school use. We have tested it at Smithfield Middle and teachers are very pleased.
If you are a Novell school, be on the look out for the icon to show up at your school in the next few days, and please spread the word to all teachers who enter grades so they are aware of this adjustment.
