Just a quick reminder that your Technology Showcase description is due by October 15--one week!

We are excited about the submissions so far. We will be showcasing great student-centered activities which use instructional technology as a vehicle to facilitate learning.

You probably already know which teacher and students will be representing your school, so go ahead and submit the activity description to bit.ly/jcsshowcase12 today!

A new twist this year is the Technology Showcase Website. After you enter your description, we are copying that data to the first ever website, which will host this year's information. The unveiling of the website will take place shortly after the 15th so we can all see this year's activities. Not only will we be able to see this information, but it will be public, as well. At the Showcase, each school's table will have a QR code the public can scan with a mobile device. The code takes the person to your school's page on the Technology Showcase Website! People will be able to read your description as well as interact with the teacher and students on site.

Please let your staff know about the event so they can attend! It is a great place to get ideas for their own classrooms.
