Twitter Fontana is a free tool that allows you to sign it to your Twitter account and create a customized feed of Tweets that you could display in your classroom or meeting space.

Sign in to your Twitter account.
Click on the settings cog in the top left corner of the screen:
Select what you want to search Twitter for (most likely your event hashtag), your color theme and transition style.
