VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE VERIZON HOTSPOTS LEAVE YOUR HANDS


*Make sure you have the number of devices you requested on the hotspot request sheet transferred and checked out to students in Destiny
*Make sure devices checked out in Destiny matches the name on the box (some students were not found in Destiny and will need to be checked out when accounts are created)
*Make sure serial numbers are entered (The SN/IMEI number is located the first barcode on the side of the box - should begin with 9900...)
*Just one device per household (you can check back in and hold additional devices for new students) - After a week or so, any extras will need to be returned to Tech Services.
*Add any new names below the green line for new requests. You can just wait to let me know when they have been added once you are ready to pick them up.  A half day's notice or more is good.
*If any switches need to be made, document it on the spreadsheet and let me know before they go to the other student so it can be updated in the console.

I was able to communicate this to many schools already but I haven't been able to get everyone.

****These devices will NOT be active until this evening at 6pm or so.  Please let parents know to turn on the device tonight or tomorrow, give it several minutes and then turn it off.  Wait several minutes and repeat those steps twice.  It may take up to 3 times before all of the policies and settings are pushed down making it ready for use.

Verizon Hotspots
