There is a current issue with a "My Apologies" error when sharing or copying co-authored tests in Schoolnet. This is a national issue and Pearson (parent company of Schoolnet) is developing a hotfix for the issue. It is estimated to take approximately two weeks for the hotfix to be designed and tested before being applied.

This issue is affecting ALL co-authored tests- both personal co-authored tests and tests in co-authored folders.

Since we share our science and ELA RCD tests in co-authored folders, we understand this is causing an issue. Until the hotfix is applied, teachers can access the tests using the following methods:
  • Teachers have access to a PDF version of all assessments in the RCD courses in Canvas.
  • They can use the PDF version to recreate a digital copy of the assessment if they wish to give it online.
  • If they have previously used a digital copy of the test in Schoolnet, they can make a copy of that assessment in their Schoolnet dashboard and schedule it. The copy feature still works on previous tests.
We will post an update to the blog and our Schoolnet help website- jcsschoolnet.weebly.com once we have a definite date for the hotfix to be applied.
