This time of year is popular for awards and end of the year celebrations...many of which involve prizes or giveaways. Today I am sharing my favorite and very simple random name picker tool: Mini Webtool Random Name Picker.
To get started, go to: http://www.miniwebtool.com/random-name-picker/
Type or copy and paste your list of names (one name per row) and click on the "Pick a Random Name" button to reveal your winner. Please note that if you are picking multiple names, you will want to remove the winner's name once they are picked as it is possible they will be picked again if you do not remove their name the list and select again.
I have had up to eighty names in my list before so this picker is great for larger classes or even a grade level.
