This week is Teacher Appreciation Week and we want to THANK YOU for all you do everyday to support and inspire the students of Johnston County Schools.
Several popular resources such as Nearpod, Teachers Pay Teachers, PBS, and Scholastic are offering FREE lesson plans and activities in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week. Nearpod Lessons
Nearpod has an expanded selection of free lessons this week. You must have a free account and you can save up to ten lessons to your free account. I love Nearpod's interactive lessons that combine videos, information, and student collaboration.
Teachers Pay Teachers
TPT has a sitewide sale today for Teacher Appreciation Week. TPT also has a huge selection of free activities and resources. I searched for free end of year activities and I had over 5,000 results. You do need a free account to download the free resources.
PBS
PBS has announced a series of FREE iBooks for teachers in grades K-8. The first two iBooks are available for free on the Apple iTunes store on All About the Holidays and Beginning Spanish. Both iBooks feature over a hundred pages of lesson plans and activities for students.
Scholastic
Scholastic is offering over one hundred free printables on many topics including lesson activities, parent communication, and classroom management. You must have a free account with Scholastic to download the printables. One way to use the printables is to share them with your students in Google Drive or Classroom and have your students edit the PDF's with DocHub to keep the activity paperless.
