Johnston County Schools is a K-5 Partner with CODE.ORG and we will be sponsoring two FREE Code Studio workshop opportunities. The workshop is a six hour course designed for teachers who would like to learn more about computer science activities and how to implement coding activities with K-5 students (including pre-readers).
Participants will receive a code teacher manual and an instructional supply kit to teach the lessons from the workshop with their students.
The first workshop is on Friday, October 23rd (teacher workday) from 8am-4pm
OR
The second workshop will be held in two parts (you must attend both parts):
Part A: Thursday, November 5th, 3-6pm
Part B: Tuesday, November 24th, 3-6pm
