Gathering student feedback is an essential part of the learning process. AnswerGarden is a great tool to quickly gather student feedback and allow students to brainstorm ideas in a collaborative environment. AnswerGarden does not require an account for the teacher or student and takes less than two minutes to setup.

To get started, go to: http://answergarden.ch/


Click on "Create AnswerGarden"

Enter a topic, answer mode (brainstorm mode allows for multiple submissions), and answer length:


Now enter an admin password and email if desired, you can also turn the SPAM filter on or off, this helps remove common words from answers.

Once you are happy with the settings, click:

You can now copy the link to your AnswerGarden and give it to your students...such as an announcement in Google Classroom. 

As your students submit their responses, you can refresh the page to see a word cloud like visual display of responses. The most popular words will become larger in the display.
