Are you tired of your same old animations in Google Slides? Miss some of your animation options from Office? Animations are an easy way to make your presentations look more dynamic in Google Slides. This week Google gave you the ability improve your Slides presentations with two new animations: Appear and Disappear. You can also now set the direction (to and from left, right, top, and bottom) of two previously existing animations: Fly in and Fly out.

Want to give it a try?

Open any presentation and select an object on the slide then use the "Insert Menu" to select "Animation" this will bring up a Animations Task Pane that looks much like the one below - use it to set up your animation. If you want to animate more than one object simply click on another object and add another animation via the Animation Task Pane.
