We have been experiencing increasing reports of SPAM emails as well as viruses. We believe the source of these issues is downloading files that have viruses attached to them. Please take extreme caution when downloading any file that ends in .zip this indicates a zipped folder that has unknown contents.

Please be very cautious with sites that offer "free" content or downloads...many times they package spyware or viruses with your free content that could ruin your computer.

Files with an .exe extension should never be downloaded unless you have authorization from your tech contact.

The only solution for a computer with a virus is to reimage the computer.

Please share this information with your staff to help stop the spread of viruses.
