Valentine's Day Library Ideas
This is a great idea for Elementary - kids have a chance to write "what we love about the media center"or "books we love" on little hearts and leave them in the basket. Pick the best ones and share them on the media center door or window for everyone to see.
This secondary idea is from Linda Dextre, Media Coordinator at Wendell Middle School and former JCS media Coordinator (@LiberryLadyDex). She wraps up some of the media center's best love stories in newspaper with a small love note to pique student interest. Students are encouraged to go on a Lit Love Blind Date with one of the books! Great way to get some interest in those books on the shelf that might be overlooked otherwise.
